What's eTwinning for me?

Hi, everybody! Since I joined the Education Office of the Spanish Embassy in Ankara three and half years ago, I have been recommending eTwinning's website to all the teachers who have contacted me about how to find partner schools in Spain in order to start a joint project. I always tell them eTwinning offers the best way to find partner schools in Europe, not only in Spain, and that by joining this fantastic platform they will be able to know about wonderful ongoing projects and they will learn how to start their own idea with other schools which may be interested in the same field or subject matter they have in mind.
I have always thought our teaching should not only concern our immediate environment and  have always tried to make my students participate in activities and projects which could make what they were learning much more relevant and useful by collaborating with other students from other countries. Current information and communication technologies have made this so much easier and eTwinning is the best way to make your own transnational project come true.
I believe my participation in this MOOC will help me learn a lot more things about the possibilities eTwinning can offer to teachers, students and schools.
By the way, I will be sharing my own photographs from Turkey, a fascinating country by all accounts, in each one of my posts (one at a time...). I hope you like them.

Comienza el MOOC sobre eTwinning

Un saludo a todos los participantes de esta nueva edición del MOOC sobre eTwinning.
Después de haber visitado muchas veces la web de eTwinning y de haber recomendado su uso a muchos profesores de español en Turquía para que iniciasen contacto con colegas suyos en toda Europa, me ha parecido muy conveniente conocer a fondo, investigar y poner en práctica todas las posibilidades que esta gran plataforma digital ofrece. Así que aquí me tenéis, con muchas ganas de aprender de otros colegas de profesión y de compartir ideas. Nos vemos.
